What we know about Jadyn:
She was born in Hubei, China and is there waiting for us.
Her birthday is April 4, 2009.
We can't wait to meet her!
We were matched a few weeks ago and decided to wait to break the news until we received our LOA from China. We were fully expecting to have to wait 4-6 weeks for this approval, but Praise God, it came early! We are still letting it sink in, we waited for so long and now it's finally happening....and it's actually happening! China said YES!
Of course, there is more paperwork to do and it is the process that brings about our travel invitation. Once we get this approval, we will make plans to travel shortly thereafter. We are hoping for August, but it could certainly be Septemer.
Her papers say 26lbs, but I am thinking that is with clothes on, soaking wet. Guess I need to figure out what size diapers to get, 3 or 4? Any advice for this new/old mom is welcome---well within reason, anyway.

I'm still just over the moon for you guys! On the practical side, Anna is 25lbs right now and is in size 4's which fit 22-37 lbs. 24 month size clothes fit her better than 2T's, and on a random note- she loves The Backyardigans;).
Oh my word, how did I not comment on how beautiful she is? She is absolutely adorable! I cannot wait to see her beautiful little face in person!
yeah!! i finally, with Christina's help, got onto your blog! See....15 years from now Jadyn will be doing the same for you! Although by then we'll have the internet in a chip inside our head....

YESSSS! Your news is so so so wonderful! I told Shannon that she'll be the best big sister a little girl could want. Your family will be such a blessing to Jaydn as she will be for you. I am so happy for all of you. God is SO good. She is a beauty.

Sorry,I can't help you with the size of the diapers. I haven't been down that road for too many years to mention. Our youngest grandson is 7 and our youngest kid is almost 33. Where has the time gone too?
